Skip step 1 go with a mechanic



I fail to see the problem with learning how to do the work yourself, and asking willing people for advice.


Going to get destroyed but oh well, a bunch of mechanics on my family/friends. Most of the time all they do is plug in the diagnostic tool. If nothing comes up they will enter the issues into their database and it will speak out the probable causes from most likely to least likely and they will start swapping/fixing in that order. Basically the same as autopro. Pretty much anyone can do the same thing now. The big issue is knowing what you can do yourself.
